Join the UChicago Center for Effective Government, the Chicago Center on Democracy, and Democracy Fund on Wednesday, May 26 at 12:00pm CDT for a panel discussion with scholars and practitioners about the prospects of bureaucratic resistance to populism in the United States. In this panel, we will take stock of the condition of the federal bureaucracy in the aftermath of the Trump presidency and the norms, rules, and practices that guard against the populist attacks on the administrative state.
